Two weeks after President Donald Trump admitted that he knew his golf course was where Jeffrey Epstein groomed teenagers, his administration announced that it now wants to lower the age at which people are considered adults.

The IRS’ limitations have no bearing on Wyden’s investigation, which is compiling more evidence to justify an audit into Epstein’s finances.

But access to necessary documents has been revoked by the Trump administration, and Senate Republicans have refused to issue a subpoena to obtain them.

On Thursday, US Sen. John Cornyn claimed the FBI agreed to join Texas law enforcement on a manhunt for Democratic state legislators who have stalled a vote to gerrymander congressional districts.

But after reaching out to the FBI, Cornyn’s claim appears to be little more than political theater.
