Agree with every word of @faiz.bsky.social here - we need more candidates with both the spine to stand up to the tech billionaires who have co-opted our democracy, and who have a vision for how to hold tech + AI accountable to building IN SERVICE to all Americans, not in detriment.

Something I'm reflecting on a lot these days is how Dem leaders drank their own koolaid for so long, believing they were the ones protecting democracy, when they are STILL clearly only interested in protecting themselves. Seems pretty undemocratic to me.

Schumer + Jeffries need to hold the line with Trump that no Democrat, under any circumstance, will vote to fund the active weaponization of the U.S. military against the American people. This isn't politics as usual, this is an authoritarian takeover. I hope they lead accordingly.

honestly put 5M into liberal media startups in every state with a population of, let's say, Iowa or smaller. It'll be inexpensive and small shifts in attitudes WHERE PEOPLE ARE ACTUALLY HAVING THEIR LIVES MADE WORSE BY TRUMP could have outsized impact.
