When I was on a grand jury in NYC, we indicted every single person, no questions asked. When we considered not indicting someone, it was made very clear to us that our job was just to rubber stamp everything. Definitely made me question why we bother with indictments at all.

I truly don’t get the appeal of podcasts having to be video now. Podcasts are at their very best when you’re doing something else, working out or playing videogames etc, and no good podcaster has ever been someone who should be shown on screen that’s just not how that works. It’s a goblin job.

I wish I could have been a fly on the wall when Taylor Swift unveiled the song 'Wood' to her team and witnessed their reactions. Because clearly no one can tell her 'no' at this point in her career.

The lake can be seen through a new manorial gate topped with a coat of arms designed for Schwarzman after his knighthood. Under a bird of prey is a “Excellentia et Benoveleniia,” a misspelled Latin motto supposed to mean “excellence and philanthropy.” www.wsj.com/world/uk/ste...

This still seems insanely tiny to me: The share of women in heterosexual marriages who significantly outearn their husbands has climbed from 3% in the early 1970s to 10%, while women who are the sole breadwinners in their households has gone from 2% to 6%.

Still curious to see how Compass is going to manifest as a tech company and not a real-estate brokerage. To that end, somewhat scared to see what they do with all the data they will now have access to. #realestate #proptech www.wsj.com/real-estate/...
