That is of course true. But there are particulars to the aging of the baby boomer generation (size, for one) and the decline of certain societal supports (as Cottle demonstrates) that make this particularly acute right now.

I did a solo trip to Europe and back when mine was 15 months. We did a lot of laps. Also see if you can get a bulkhead seat for floor playing time.

A pack of brightly colored post it notes that they can stick on things and take off. Same with painters tape. The “indestructible” books they can chew on. Feed during takeoff/landing. You might have to strap them to you and walk around.
