Hey, as someone who makes a living off selling adult games, I would really appreciate people helping to push back against censorship by payment processors. These puritanical extremists pressuring them have been successful because they've made a lot of noise, so we should be making even more noise!

it feels depressingly conflict avoidant *at best*, & the explanations go downhill from there. but the worst part imo is the lack of explanation or communication. why not trust community stakeholders to to participate in the conversation *before* a decision gets made?

i don’t want to be ungenerous, bc i imagine @itch.io did not anticipate becoming the primary platform for counterculture games…but the lines of communication between the site admins & the many devs whose work essentially sustains the platform feel increasingly broken
