"Bon Appétit, Your Majesty" was charming and definitely the best time-traveling Korean cooking show I have ever watched.

(The final episode was gently heartbreaking and I feel like they did moderately well in addressing the ever thorny nuts and bolts of time travel.)

I appreciate that on one hand maybe it means my projected vibe is something along the lines of "likely to be competent and helpful" but also am super amused by the fact that (while dressed up nice!) it was still assumed by two different ladies that I worked at this Korean grocery store.

My parents were also horrified as I told them about the bakery guy slicing bread and disposing of the butt pieces.

(i realized in the telling that *maybe* in starting the accelerating staleness clock as policy, they were maybe forcing themselves to start fresh daily but also...unnecessary waste!)

Same actor but different dubbed voices in different roles also feels very disquieting.

I realized the other day that part of it was sometimes I was also listening to Spanish dubs, but it is amusing to hear crossovers. Like a subtle "ahh, that guy, I am glad your career is flourishing, Faceless."

I wonder what it is that makes it barely notable that Jake the Dog and Bender the Robot have the same voice BUT the same voice coming out of 2 different non-animated humans leads to so intense a record scratch.

It has gotten surprisingly expensive to get large documents printed. I suppose maybe it's the 27 years of inflation that I always forget, but I was expecting a black and white thing (especially when part of a bulk print) to be 2c/p and it is DECIDEDLY NOT.
