It’s so fascinating to me how different people’s creative processes work. I was talking to a friend who also writes and she says she can only focus on one thing before stating sometime else whereas I take ideas as they come and have several working projects and/or outline at a time

That was the kind of World Series that reminds you why baseball is so magical. It really could have gone either way. I refuse to celebrate the Dodgers though because we had way too many fireworks here tonight which my dog loudly protested.

I went into this World Series not really caring but now I’m kind of pulling for the Blue Jays, especially after watching that epic game 5 and Trey Yesavage just crushing it. What a story that would be.

-Naps
-Not being sober but also not being drunk
-Lecturing my dog
-Replaying the same five videos games
-Cheese

Well. Nothing like naming a character “Lucky” only to then realize you’re going to have to kill her off later in the story to further the protagonist’s arc. I really did some accidental foreshadowing there.

I’m currently rewatching Legend of Korra which is great except it’s always so painful watching Korra and Asami both mess around with Mako the first couple of season when you know they end up together.

I hate when get these dog food ads that try to make me feel guilty for not feeding my dog super expensive fresh food. I have a young, very healthy (the vet’s words) Lab mix who will eat literally anything in her bowl. I think she’s fine.

I love that moment of unspoken understanding you get when you interact with another queer person in the wild. The cashier at Total Wine and I looked at each other and were immediately buddies and had some fun banter. Definitely the highlight of my morning

Made an observation the other day that in queer spaces people tend to automatically used they/them pronouns for me whereas everything else I get she/her and/or a confused look. I don’t mind either way since I use both interchangeably but I thought it was interesting

It’s hard for me to get excited about all these new Star Trek projects when I’m still so upset about losing Lower Decks.
(This obviously doesn’t apply to the new season of Strange New Worlds. Of course I’m stoked to have Lt Ortegas and friends back on my TV)

Honestly kind of glad I didn’t go to Warped Tour because seeing how much older the guys in Less Than Jake look now than when I saw them a decade or so ago also makes me feel really old

Well. My short story somehow turned into me basically telling my love story with my girlfriend which was all nice and great until I realized it’s apparently easier to build a whole fantasy world than describe that certain smirk your partner of two years wears when she thinks you’re being a dork
