So, I haven't been sharing my thoughts on Hazbin Hotel Season 2 yet, because I really wanted to save them for the next Renegade Animation podcast. For now, I'll say this: there are noticeable improvement from the first season in terms of the overall production value, the animation, and the music.

It would be easy to chalk this up to recency bias, but I genuinely believe that Now YouSee Me: Now You Don't is the best of the trilogy. The new additions to the cast are excellent, they play off the original Horseman so effortlessly, and I will absolutely be back for more!
A review of Now You See Me: Now You Don't (2025)
Quick thoughts: I don't like to use the term "guilty pleasure" simply to describe movies I enjoy despite a mixed to negative critical reception. We all understand that film is subjective, everyone's t...

I quite enjoyed #TheRunningMan, at the very least as an entertaining action thriller. Glen Powell proves he has exactly what it takes to be a leading man, and he's backed by a great ensemble supporting cast. Stephen King continues to have a great 2025!
A review of The Running Man (2025)
Quick thoughts: It's been a really good year for Stephen King adaptations, hasn't it? I know I must have said that before, but my opinion really hasn't changed, even despite the few criticisms I have ...

Regarding Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein: It's perfectly okay to not like the movie because of the changes del Toro made to the source material. However, it is NOT okay to say that he's disrespecting the text.

I think I'm done seeing Guillermo del Toro's name being raked across the coals, so it's time to get back to some more positivity.

Tell me either your favorite del Toro film, or a top 5!

I've seen enough to say that Dan Trachtenberg has done an incredible job breathing new life into the Predator franchise, and that certainly includes #PredatorBadlands! It not only has great action, but a strong emotional journey with plenty on its mind.
A review of Predator: Badlands (2025)

Don't ask me yet if #Frankenstein is Guillermo del Toro's best movie to date, but it's the one he needed to make regardless. If nothing else, the world needed the gut wrenching performance that Jacob Elordi delivered as The Creature, his breakthrough!
