Yes. My library is festooned with posters about it and relevant books, and I've been making sure to check in with people even more than usual. For my own mental health I'm on holiday today, and have been mostly playing the sims. 💚

The Economist has claimed Britain is trapped in a “debt doom loop.” But they’re wrong. The UK does not face a government debt crisis. What we really face is chronic underinvestment, inequality, and an elite media pushing austerity to protect the wealthy.

All this stuff the right are coming out with about deportations is so very nasty. We do need to give people who want to move to our country safer routes to get here. And we do need to recognise all the wonderful things that welcoming strangers brings to our lives. 💚

Labour's plan to beat Reform is to just implement the most harmful, cruel and performative immigration policies themselves. All the societal and economic pain for zero political gain.

We defeat the politics of hate through solidarity, not by racing them to the bottom.

This is an intrusive and authoritarian scheme that will only increase mass surveillance and allow the government to target marginalised communities.

No money to support vital services, but Labour can find hundreds of millions for this, which appeared nowhere in their manifesto.

We have 10,000 homeless children in Scotland, but over twice as many holiday homes and over four times as many empty homes. This is a housing crisis we can solve.

Tomorrow MSPs will debate our proposal to set higher tax rates for properties which sit empty for most of the year.

President Donald Trump on Thursday suggested that networks should lose their broadcast licenses if their on-air talent is critical of him.
“They’re giving me all this bad press, and they’re getting a license,” Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One when asked if Federal Communications Commissioner Brendan Carr should go after other talk show hosts after Jimmy Kimmel was suspended from the air. “I would think maybe their license should be taken away.”
