2. In the VA governor’s race, Republicans appear to be running the same playbook they’ve leaned on recently: using trans people as political fodder. The contest between Democratic Rep. Spanberger and current Lt. Gov. Earle-Sears has been blanketed with anti-trans ads attacking Spanberger.

Reporting on this Virginia Governor’s debate is tough when Winsome Sears just continues to interrupt and talk over Spanberger.

I've spent the past hour watching the Spanberger / Earle-Sears gubernatorial debate. Earle-Sears is insufferable. Very rarely did Spanberger get through a single answer with Earle-Sears diving in with her own running commentary. The hosts often had to let Spanberger re-answer, so anybody could hear.
