Ich frage mich, wann dt Medien diese passive Sprache aufgeben. „Stirbt nach Schüssen durch“ und „haben geschossen…sei dabei getötet worden“ machen die Tatsache, dass ICE Beamte einen weiteren Menschen erschossen haben, sprachlich zu einem Vorfall, an dem Menschen scheinbar nur passiv beteiligt waren

Das hier ist keine Kleinigkeit: Die USA erwarten einen Wintersturm mit Schnee und Eis. Das DHS (Department of homeland security) hat sich jetzt gemeldet und will, dass das Wort Eis (also ice) nicht so oft verwendet wird, weil sie Angst vor Memes haben wie: "Pass auf, ICE" (watch out for the ice).
CNN: DHS officials have come to FEMA staff and told them to limit the use of the word ice…they are worried that by posting something like, watch out for the ice, that it's going to become a meme….
