Ich war selber in einer Situation, in der ich monatelang die Post nicht öffnen konnte. Mein Strom war bereits abgestellt. Statt diesem Krieg gegen die Schwächsten im Land nicht in den Arm zu fallen, behandelt ihn die SPD als strategische Verhandlungsmasse.

Das ist so kaputt. Aktuell wird darüber verhandelt, ob beim 2. oder 3. Terminversäumnis vollsanktioniert werden soll? Das wird jene hart treffen, die ohnehin nix zu lachen haben: Depressionen, Phobien, Krankenhausaufentahlt, usw. Bis dagegen erfolgreich geklagt werden könnte, würden Jahre vergehen.

You're perfectly right (and I notice myself how often I use concepts from the discourse on postmodernism, some of them more than 40 years old). But what do we make of this? Except maybe considering that, despite the hype, AI may not be nothing fundamentally new (only more of it, much much more)

And I think it‘s not a coincidence that these three movies have become such a major source of memes (we discussed that intensively): They are all made around 2000, shortly before the advent of social media and online meme culture, and they can be read as allegories of the online condition

It's The Matrix week in my class, one big takeaway: only 2 of 18 had seen the film before, but everyone else knew it through memes & vague references to "living in the matrix". Memification of the film's central moments kinda trivialized them, they were watching through the lens of memes.
