I took this photo back in 2000 in the Jardins de la Fontaine in Nîmes, using my old Pentax MZ5N 35mm film SLR with a Sigma 28-200 zoom. It is still one of my favourites because I think it is an interesting scene.

Oh no! I am so, so sorry. I've been through it twice since 2020. It hurts so much, but it is, in the end, the last great kindness we can ever give to our beloved friends. You have my deepest sympathies. They will always live on in our hearts and memories.

Farage needs to be investigated. He needs his finances gone through with a fine tooth comb and he needs his tax arrangements exposed.

Will these 28mm Red Lizardmen warriors from North Star do?

I didn't say that you made anything up. I was just questioning your methodology, level of analysis and expertise in polling.

This is so terribly sad. Have a big hug from me over the internet.

Except that Starmer was more interested in brown-nosing the orange arse than working with our close neighbours.

It's bullshit, run by a 23 year-old nobody.

Not particularly. Quite a lot of OK things, but no truly earth-shatteringly great ones.

Still loaded with far too many right-wingers. Annabel Denham is the Deputy Comment Editor of the Daily Telegraph. According to Wikipedia, her net worth is estimated at $500k to $1 million. I won't bother watching. I haven't watched QT for at least 15 years, maybe longer.

Try PCSpecialist. I've had two desktop machines and a laptop from them. I replaced my first desktop this year with a more powerful one. The old one was about a decade old, still working but underpowered for today's bloated software. If you don't want Windows, you can buy one without software.

Exactly. It is why I love Sharp Practice, so long as both players stick to playing the period, i.e. how the various forces went about their business.

How many innocent Palestinian children had to die to balance the Israeli hostages Hamas illegally captured two years ago. Killing innocent people is always a war crime but doing it to punish an entire population for the actions of a small minority is a worse one.

Here's some sunshine and blue sky. Trajan's Forum, Rome. Taken in May 2011 with my old Pentax *ist DL, my first DSLR.

That is why I never use the trains in this country. Italian, Belgian and French trains are miles better than UK ones.

Yes, that can happen. I played Peninsular War British line with Portuguese skirmishers against the French once and the same thing happened. After the French taking casualties from skirmishers, my 3 groups of Line gave a First Fire Controlled Volley at maybe 3". The French were absolutely shattered.

The French need to form an attack column and use Pas de Charge when attacking. Also, you need to deploy skirmishing troops ahead of the column.

Typos are different from grammatical errors, though.
