On my walk today (sans dog, she’s on a predawn hike in the hills with my husband), I ran into what feels like the dumbest wild bunny ever, in the next block over to ours. The Whippet would have been screaming wanting to chase-would have made for an effective alarm clock for the entire neighborhood!

My mom was a very hard worker all her life, my brother jokes about how we inherited our strong work ethics from her. My dad worked in a very tough field and struggled with alcoholism all his adult life-he showed up and got the job done but was miserable about it.

Hope it shows up soon! Mine occasionally slips out of my pant or vest pocket to dive between the driver’s seat and the console. Occasional panic ensues when I cannot quickly see it-thankfully have small hands and fingers since it’s a tight spot at the best of times!

Heading out shortly for our first ever potluck Thanksgiving meal! My daughter’s Watch commander has invited everyone over, we’re bringing roasted carrots and parsnips along with pumpkin pie with coconut whip in the side. I’ve been visiting our daughter up here in northern BC, fun evening I think!

Yeah, that’s the AC Jazz planes I take two of to fly north to visit my daughter and my soft sided carry on fits easily in overhead or under the seat in front of me. No brainer to be sure.

In the 90’s I was raising two little kids with my husband, who is deeply mired in 70’s and early 80’s music so the only new stuff I heard was pretty much on the radio at work. 😈

Our dog has been gently pushed out the door twice today to have a pee today and now she’s claiming invisibility in her bed. We desperately need the rain but she’s clearly disgusted and let down, lol.

Ooooo, # 10 rings some bells. My husband got hired into a municipality years ago, it was a huge move for our family with young kids. His boss was fired by mayor and council a month later, we panicked thinking he was next…turns out she was hired for slashing budgets, they gave my husband her job!😳
