Stretching the definition of "tea" here, this is a honey and fruit blend you stir into hot water. I originally got into herbal teas as a low calorie drink option in evenings, but that's a bit lost when I'm basically stirring in a spoonful of honey.

"Savory notes of buttered mung bean and artichoke" isn't the most useful reference point; I guessed it would be "milder yellow tea" and thst was about right. Think I prefer the proper yellow tea for this function.

I'll just finish off this Stash advent calendar, long after Christmas. I can't find my photo of it but whatever. Another cheaply flavored black tea, if given a blind test I would've named a hundred things before "gingerbread".

I forget if I reviewed this before, as it came in my previous herbal tea box from them. If the advent calendar was more like this, a sample of their best products rather than a bunch of slapdash flavored stuff, I would've liked it more.

Because I have more roast barley than I know what to do with, I threw it in my coffee grinder and brewed some Caffè d'Orzo. The result is a stronger barley tea, though oddly seems to taste less roasted than the tea. Drinkable, but better things are out there.

They do better at herbals than black tea, so this is alright. However I'd still prefer regular high-quality rooibos without the added flavorings.
