8 years ago today, I celebrated Doug Jones’ election to the US Senate. Tonight, I attended his campaign kickoff for Governor of Alabama. A difficult task, perhaps, but I’m enthusiastically ready to volunteer. Alabama can and should be better.

I am at ShoalsFest in Florence, AL. Saw Jackson Browne last night, and Jason Isbell will perform shortly. I needed this. The vibe is so positive. There are people of all ages from all over the country. Everyone is friendly and kind.
