It definitely sounds like it! It really is perfect timing for me too because patches of faint purple light have recently started appearing on the screen, and I found out it's because the LED backlights are failing and will get worse over time, so instead of replacing them I'll just get a new TV ✌️

This extra money from Field of Screams is really gonna help because my old LG TV is showing its age, and I'm looking to buy a LED or QLED TV of the same brand or by Samsung. I would love to get an OLED, but I hear they die out quicker than others, plus the price on them is crazy O_o

I've been thinking a lot about writing this opinion piece. Yes, Journey was a transformative experience that fundamentally changed how many of us saw the medium of videogames. But that doesn't mean we should compare all meditative indies to it.

For a certain subset of players, no meditative indie videogames existed until 2012 with the release of Journey. And in a way, no other have. The impact this unassuming game had cannot be underestimate...

I've never thought of Journey as the stem of indie games, but it's an incredible experience nonetheless. For me, Limbo is what got me into loving indies 😌🙏

I haven't played a game yesterday and it looks like I won't today either 😩 My mind is just in work mode and I feel like I won't be able to concentrate on Yōtei and admire the beauty of the game, but I don't have night work tomorrow for SURE so I'll be able to play then 🙏
