Currently at maybe the best concert venue I've ever been to. It used to be an auto factory. They refurbished the inside but not the outside. Gives it a nice cosplay underground venue vibe. Really digging it. It's so massive.

Oh yeah, I think Melinoe is awesome! I'm just not as into the entire narrative around her as much. But totally agreed that Hades 2 is freaking awesome.

Astral Ascent is a huge reason why I started this blog. It was driving me nuts that no outlets that I followed were talking about it.

Might be my favorite roguelite ever besides the Hades games.

Last bump. Appreciate the support today! I will say, my last session with Yotei last night was probably my favorite one so far. I'm getting optimistic that my impressions will continue to improve.

Coming next week: I have a pretty fun list planned! Shocker, I know.

I'm playing a few sequels right now.

I consider Hades 1 the best roguelite ever. I gave Ghost of Tsushima an 8/10.

Have the sequels done enough for me to view them as better games than the original? My thoughts are here!

I’ve said this many times, but for anyone who loves video games, we might genuinely be in the best era of all time right now. There are quality games coming out damn near every week these day…

I actually prefer SM2 a fair bit. Some pretty significant gameplay enhancements! Though nothing quite hit like web swinging for the first time in the original.

I'm only 13% into Yotei for the story. I'd say no spoilers there for sure.

Hades 2 I discuss an element of gameplay that I guess could be considered a spoiler, but it reveals itself pretty early. I try my best to always avoid any real spoilers!

Like everyone else, I've been all over photo mode in Yotei. I'm not as talented as most at this, but the game makes it so easy to create incredible shots.

I'm a big sequel fan, but every sequel is at a slight disadvantage imo, even if the sequel is technically a better game.

God of War vs God of War Ragnarok is one of my faves examples. Ragnarok has so many great improvements, but I still consider the original to be "better"
