But agreed. Shadow dropping a game that you have to pay for wasn't smart imo. I think a lot of people like me would prefer to wait for others to play it first given the lack of info. Which kills some of the buzz

As someone who reads a lot if articles, it's always obvious it has no soul. It uses the same tricks constantly. She reads books but doesn't read articles so much so I don't think she sees the difference as much.

I bounced off of it after really enjoying it for a bit.

I love the concept, but the progression was wonky. And I dont think they balanced it well. I never found a great build without just going hardcore on traditional battle stuff IIRC

The developer direct sold me, but I don't think it showed off the intensity of the combat or some of the fluidity of the movement.
