Irish authorities, at least, may be finally stepping away from wasting sex crime prosecution resources on anime fans.
Good news - the prosecution of Finley Bowd, who had been arrested due to cartoon images on his phone while traveling to Anime NYC - has been dropped. Seems like the gov't gave up on the case, leading the court to end it. www.irishtimes.com/crime-law/co...

Here's why I've been warning that increased sales from book bans is not the whole story: while that's true for some GNs, the overall potential negative impact on school/library purchases, distributor marketing, and publisher acquisitions from new creators is substantial.
