This entire system is so broken. A club that's the 5th oldest in the UK with a huge history is struggling to pay a mere £1m debt to the Tax Man and has to go into administration. Then also get a 12 point deduction for as if that's meant to help

Yet the casual spending in the Premiership escalates..

Not just Star Wars, he also greenlighted Alien into production before falling out with Fox in 1979, and leaving to start his own production studio called 'The Ladd Company'. They were responsible for Police Academy, Outland with Sean Connery, and the oscar winning Chariots of Fire.

No they didn't, the official statement at the time said the sale was for $1 billion. It did not say how that was going to be paid, in terms of instalments, or a mixture of stock options etc. a document showing them paid $20m is merely a document showing what's been paid so far.

Wrong, it wasn't out of fear and he wasn't the only one. It was purely partisan, prioritized loyalty to party > over country by any means necessary. They held power that came with the condition of Trump + a massive blind cult following, and none of them; save a select few, wanted to relinquish that!

Individual yes, but not the largest shareholder in the company. The major shareholders like Blackrock and Vanguard didnt mind making him that if he sold them Lucasfilm, since they possess way more in controlling institutional shares than him.

Blade Runner is an adaptation of a book based on speculative Science Fiction. It's not meant to predict fuck all, but its suggestion that humans could advance to the point of simulating life as an alternative workforce and a world governed by a few mega rich, powerful corporations isn't too far off.

The majority of DC movies are on a set course for ever diminishing returns. The general audience are not fanboys, they aint invested in yet another confusing attempt at a cinematic universe full of heroes & villains with the dumbest names. The MCU peaking with Endgame put the era of CBM hype to bed.

Not news, not even important. He moved on over a decade ago and continued to have a good relationship with the people he left in charge of Lucasfilm who actually continue to do all the creating and managing of everything SW, and the 4 billion Disney paid him for Lucasfilm, he donated all to charity.

When GL set out to make Star Wars, he wanted it to include important life lessons for maturing kids to adhere to among all the adventure and spectacle. The prequel trilogy lessons on desire, fixating on loss and trying to reverse it, are wasted on fans who continue on those needy paths regardless..

Yeah because way too many collective fanboys have a huge dislike for Jared Leto and chose to avoid anything he stars in even if the production is good.

I couldn't care less either way, it's not my money and Disney are rich enough with all their previous MCU success.
