I agree the argument is over because we’ve all seen what the best, most left wing government that is permissible does with a smashing majority and it sure as hell is not “stand up to the far right”. That means that all this shit about mystical internet ninjas is just whistling past the graveyard.

Only an incredibly silly Scot doesn't want Scottish Independence.

There's no longer a valid argument against it.

Scottish Tourism and hospitality is BOOMING, Scotch Whisky is 25% of ALL UK Food and Drink Exports, Scotland produces half of all UK renewable energy...

There's no other future.

Child poverty in Scotland has fallen to its lowest level in three decades, with both absolute and relative rates continuing to sit well below the UK average. For 2023–24, those rates were 22% and 17% respectively – 9% lower than the UK’s 31% and 26%

Unlike the rest of the UK, Scottish child poverty rates are falling
Latest figures reveal lowest child poverty levels in decades, posing more difficult questions for Labour ahead of the Autumn Budget.

Of course, he's correct.

I've been saying this, for decades.

Diageo only make Johnnie Walker in Scotland because they have to. If they could do it in India, they would.

We desperately need Scottish Independence.

The irony is, most English/Speyside 'Distillery Owners' don't want it!

Interesting! What we're seeing with all this new data is that the Brexit damage is only getting worse as time goes on. Companies aren't "adjusting", they're either leaving, downscaling or going under. From manufacturing to services to culture to farming and fishing, the decline is snowballing.

I don't think it matters if you are for or against the topic, if a majority of people are wanting a second vote then it seems rather undemocratic to deny them that right while also still saying that the UK is a voluntary union.

Reeves has ruled out a Scottish independence vote - ever. There starts to be an international law case for secession from the UK if democracy is constantly denied Scotland &UK policies repeatedly diminish Scotland’s wellbeing, for instance in closing Grangemouth refinery whilst supporting English.

Why does no-one ask the likes of her, not her call by the way, WHY, 🤔. None of the rubbish 2014 answers as everything has changed since then.
Who’s Rachel Reeves to say whether Scotland can hold a referendum? I’d likely vote No if a referendum were held, but I believe we should have the right to hold one if a pro-Indy majority were to be elected into the Scottish Parliament. Poor choice from Reeves.

According to Starmer, the nation of Scotland is to be forced to stay in the UK whether the Scottish people like it or not, & were forced out of the EU whether they liked it or not.

That is not democracy.
