Yes, the GOP controls Congress. That's why it's key to show Congress COULD stop the madness. And it's not just the DHS bill. Congress could repeal the prior multi-year $75b for DHS; set up a special investigative committee (cf. Watergate); amend the Insurrection Act; etc.

I see that ICE now has a verified presence on Bluesky. See ya elsewhere (I'm not hard to find). Remember, you don’t really know who owns Bluesky and some techbroligarch could boot you at any time. You could also be silenced en masse right before an election. Do you have “social media ‘go’ bag”?

Very sad to see what’s happening at Indiana. The school has decided it wanted to muzzle its student newspaper to only print fluffy campus life stories in special sections. When they pushed back, the school cut all print funding and fired their staff director
