Moment of brilliance from Enner Valencia, and some good saves in net from Ecuador's Galindez, have been the difference here so far. Fairly even match-up, even tempted to say that the U.S. are looking decent despite the scoreline.

My unpopular hot take on tacos is that, because of the Mexican diaspora, the best tacos in the world could possibly be from a place like Idaho or Wyoming.

Tijuana and Mexico City are elite, L.A. and San Diego obviously have plenty of options, but I've had some good tacos in surprising spots

I've never liked over-hyping players like these and adding more pressure, but Mora is the real deal. Anybody in the San Diego/Tijuana region and from the So Cal/Baja region in general should watch a Xolos game before he goes on to achieve big things in Europe

I forget which Liga MX or Liga MX Femenil game that I went to, but they had a Bad Bunny impersonator during halftime that basically did a caricature of his voice and 90% of the shtick was him mumbling in Spanish you couldn't understand lol
