You ever watch an MLS player walk into a game and think: What are those little bags that they carry?

From Marco Reus' designer tote with a customized cologne, a knockoff from the streets of NY, and even grocery bags, there's much more than meets the eye.

From designer clutches to grocery bags: Inside soccer's toiletry bag obsession
Toiletry bags are soccer players' fashion statements, and the stars of MLS opened theirs up and showed ESPN what's inside.

No shade to The Aquabats, up there on my top 10 list of live shows

Ella Fitzgerald could have listened to The Aquabats

Today's HT entertainment at the Estadio Caliente

My unpopular hot take on tacos is that, because of the Mexican diaspora, the best tacos in the world could possibly be from a place like Idaho or Wyoming.

Tijuana and Mexico City are elite, L.A. and San Diego obviously have plenty of options, but I've had some good tacos in surprising spots
dmercer00.bsky.social
That looks solid. Best stadium tacos I’ve had were in, to my surprise, St. Louis.

Do we have FootyScran on BS? Carnitas taco at Estadio Caliente

Let's see what Sergio Ramos and Anthony Martial can do against Xolos, is 100% not something I would have asked myself a few years ago. Should be a fun game in Tijuana

San Diego gets an equalizer in stoppage time but Kouassi responds with the winner from distance for Washington - both goals

Interesting Concacaf-ish battle in Juve vs AC Milan.

Weston McKennie & Jonathan David vs. Santi Gimenez & Christian Pulisic.

7 games in a row that include Toluca that have 3+ goals and 23 goals in the last 6. Must-watch Liga MX soccer these days.

Was going to post stats about SDFC's expansion year records, and the chaos of this game that included 4 goals after the 84th minute and a goal in the 103rd minute, but Diesel is now the main story for me
cesarhfutbol.bsky.social
Houston Dynamo's Diesel is absolutely devastated about that loss to San Diego FC

I've never liked over-hyping players like these and adding more pressure, but Mora is the real deal. Anybody in the San Diego/Tijuana region and from the So Cal/Baja region in general should watch a Xolos game before he goes on to achieve big things in Europe
cesarhfutbol.bsky.social
I've run out of compliments for Gilberto Mora and he's still just 16 years old
cesarhfutbol.bsky.social
I forget which Liga MX or Liga MX Femenil game that I went to, but they had a Bad Bunny impersonator during halftime that basically did a caricature of his voice and 90% of the shtick was him mumbling in Spanish you couldn't understand lol

this is fascinating stuff

Welp, at the very least, the Padres made that last inning an interesting one

Some #ConcacafAfterDark vibes in the Campeones Cup.

Toluca coach Antonio Mohamed earns a red, his son/assistant coach earns a red, Galaxy took a 2-1 lead in the 83rd minute shortly after a Toluca goal was ruled offside, and then Toluca scored an equalizer in the 88th and a game-winner in the 94th

Shoutout to the CBS Golazo Show crew, they interviewed the owners of El Farolito pictured here in the USOC Final post-game show to talk about their history in the competition and success in the #USOC2025 edition @burritobrava.bsky.social @thecup.us

Pretty cool seeing the Dewar Cup earlier this summer, Nashville's own plaque will be added to the bottom rung of the trophy at the National Soccer Hall of Fame.

Retired, to an extent, but time to bring this design back for the US Open Cup over the latest one?

Space that holds the lawn mower for Austin's training ground has a sign that says Mow The Legend (a reference to their Grow The Legend motto)
