Pochettino says that beyond Alex Freeman, Tim Weah and Weston McKennie can also fill the wingback role. Both have on occasion filled that role for their clubs. #usmnt

Multiple sources tell ESPN that the early prognosis on Tristan Blackmon's knee injury is he has a sprained MCL. He's expected miss about 4 weeks. The hope is to have him back for the MLS Cup playoffs. He'll definitely miss the October int'l window, but could return for November. #usmnt #VWFC

Gio Reyna goes 74 minutes in his debut for Borussia Moenchengladbach in 4-0 loss to Werder Bremen. 21/31 passing, but I thought he did alright, & should have had an assist in the 37th minute, but Robin Hack didn't hit the target. He'll gain more sharpness as he gets more minutes. #usmnt
