One more time! Pochettino's roster for the Sept. window contained some head-scratchers. He says it's the last chance to look at new players b4 the WC. But w/time in short supply, he may be squandering one of the last opportunities to develop chemistry w/top players.

New USMNT roster a head-scratcher: Is Pochettino wasting a chance for World Cup prep?
The USMNT only has four more camps before the 2026 FIFA World Cup begins, but coach Mauricio Pochettino's latest roster feels like a wasted opportunity.

Emma Hayes wanted to see the #USWNT show progress against a top opponent. A mix of veterans and youth dominated Canada, another sign that the US' transformation is on the right track.

Ah, yeah, I can't think of anything with that functionality already that I/most people use. Maybe @bsky.app can add Spaces/Clubhouse next!

Didn't Twitter Spaces copy Clubhouse? Is Clubhouse still a thing?

I'm genuinely honored to be a finalist for the Billie Jean King Award for women's sports coverage. Credit to @espn.com and our great editors for committing to scale #NWSL + #USWNT coverage nationally, especially @caitlinmurr.bsky.social for her daily editing and ideation. Women's sports are sports.

The quality of the commentating has been an issue for the league since its inception. If the commentating team doesn't know how to demonstrate excitement when exciting moments happen, it pretty much ruins any video clips that would help promote the league's on-field product.

If only he had the number of the guy who could sign some players, haha

Great piece I edited from @rwohan.bsky.social on Wrexham's path to three promotions in a row: www.espn.com/soccer/story...

It's got me wondering: Should I watch that show, "Welcome To Wrexham"? Is it any good? Is it fake/staged or legit? White Lotus is over and I need something new 😂
How Wrexham paid their way to promotion, and why the Premier League requires more than that
Wrexham's promotion might look miraculous, but it's actually a combination of factors that other Premier League hopefuls shouldn't try to replicate.

New from me on @espn.com: The #NWSL calls parity its "superpower." The past two weeks of erratic results might prove that is alive and well. Or, was this stretch an anomaly as the league plays with its kryptonite? On the tension and the value proposition of chaos 👇
If parity is NWSL's 'superpower' vs. Europe competition, is expansion its kryptonite?
The NWSL has excitement that the UEFA Women's Champions League and England's WSL can't match -- but how long will it last?

Yes, I beat it! I really liked it! if I had one note, I'd have wanted fewer boss battles (my least favorite part of games, hence no Elden Ring for me) and I wanted to spend more time just managing the restaurant, ha
