DVOA loves the Seahawks. But the Rams and Niners beat them early in the year, and you can see the Eagles winning a caveman fight by a 12-10 final.

A fellow Seahawks fan told me in chat last night that they were an unusually weak #1 seed and...yes I get the vibe I am familiar with the misadventures of Sam Darnold but also they had a +190 point differential against a tough schedule and just made a Kyle Shanahan offense look like the 1991 Colts

Working on my AP ballot and one thing I found interesting—8 of my top 10 choices for Assistant Coach of the Year are defensive playcallers.

I regret to tell the commentator that injuries are not the *only* reason the Commanders are terrible, though they surely didn't help. The team was also old as heck and had plenty of holes.
