Been waiting a long time to share this. My husband's band, Mit Hiss, just released their first album. It's a collaboration with a close friend, and it's been a long time in the making. In the last track, I sneak in with my flute.

It's perfect music for writing to, and generally just awesome stuff.

Swung my leg out of bed this morning and stepped right on my cat, who'd fallen asleep on my sheepskin rug. He's been glaring at me ever since. Even treats aren't working.

Ha! Good choice! I still remember getting Beethoven Second from the video rental place in town (I can't even remember what we used to call it - being Brit expats in Holland, Video Store or Blockbuster are out).

For me, the video we had kicking around I watched the most was:

LONG THREAD INCOMING!

#Charagma is gonna be a big ensemble cast. But the *main* MCs (at least in Book 1) will be twin sisters Clarity & Remember Blake, aka Clara & Mem.

They're in their early 20s, live in Arx Lucis, graduating college right at the start of the story. Clara is a 🧵

A friend asked to read The Last Sky (my book on sub). So, I grabbed the latest version off the shelf to mail her and flicked through the opening pages. Well, 4 hours later, I've just resurfaced. I'd forgotten how much I LOVE this book. Couldn't put it down.

I can't wait for it to find a home.
