‘Mosquito Deterrence (‘Akikiki)’, part of my Conservation Pieces series, was selected as first place winner at the Cultural Art Council Douglasville’s 2025 national juried show. This 18x24 gouache painting focuses on a critically endangered member of the Hawaiian honeycreeper family.
