Relying on ChatGPT to teach you about a topic leaves you with shallower knowledge than Googling and reading about it, according to new research that compared what more than 10,000 people knew after using one method or the other.

To reform universities, first tackle global rankings
Universities are in thrall to a rankings system that prioritizes narrow aspects of academic life. Three changes would give institutions the freedom to explore fresh ways of working.

He will either go next year or lead Labour into oblivion. Either way, he's cooked. The scale of the damages done to Labour and the country is too vast to be able to recover; his lack of vision and charisma won't help.

The Home Secretary says her reforms will unite a divided Britain. She knows they won't. They are a tragedy for Britain. This Labour government must go.

The Labour Party is on full auto-destruction mode. Can someone please tell them that they're mainly losing votes to parties other than Reform and that behaving like Farage will only create more Farage voters.

I've been quite critical of the BBC for the way it tends to depict leftwing ideas as necessarily radical and dangerous. But I have continued to pay the licence fee as no journalism can ever be fully impartial and the BBC does some great stuff. Defend the BBC, fight fascism.

People have tried to say that the Green surge is just on social media.

Or in a bubble that's just about polls and just about new members.

Yet up and down the country - Greens are also winning elections.

Huge congratulations to the Canterbury Greens! 💚🎉

There are always massively influential figures in the shadow of politicians. Morgan McSweeney (who 'hates the left') is one of them. Paul Holdens' book 'The Fraud' shows who actually runs Labour and why Starmer's, i.e. McSweeney's, leadership must be challenged. orbooks.com/catalog/the-...

The only narrative the Starmer government has been able to offer is one of crisis, blaming the past governments for economic mismanagement. But this narrative is utterly uninspiring and effectively tells everyone there is nothing good this government can do because of what happened in the past.
