I'm pretty confident that a lot of those "blame both sides" are actually Republicans who know they fucked up, but don't want to admit how badly so they are trying to both sides it. Just like the media conditioned them to do.
The difference is you think the people running the Democratic party are going to save us when there are decades of examples out there that say otherwise.
I'm not a Democrat and holding thieir hand why they fail to rise to the occasion time and time again is not my responsibility. Any other industry in the world these people would have been replaced for cause long ago.

At some point Democratic leadership all around the country needs to stand up in unison and use every resource available, including their national guard and police forces to defend the citizens they are responsible for. Until that happens every single thing they say is completely worthless.
