Guys there's not gonna be a Splatoon 3 Switch 2 edition 😭 if there was they wouldn't have put out a free update that bumped up the resolution and improved load times (they would have paywalled that like with the other S2 edition games)

Reminder for anyone on Switch 2 that uses HDR to set it to "Compatible Software Only"

If you have it on "For All Software" (the default), it puts a weird filter over games that don't support HDR. It makes most games (especially Splatoon) look washed out and bad

AC:NH Update Thoughts:

It's a great update with some much needed features (bulk crafting, storing flowers, etc) the new dream islands and Resetti cleaning service are amazing too.

However this update seems to just add more to the "decoration" aspect of New Horizons...
