Important news. After so much suffering, the relief on the ground shows the difference this deal could make.

It is vital that this - including the return of the hostages - is implemented in full, that aid can enter Gaza unrestricted, and helps forge a path for a long-term peace.

My thoughts are with those who lost their lives in this dreadful antisemitic attack in Heaton Park, those who were harmed, and all those impacted.

I have written to local Jewish leaders to share my support.

📰 Really pleased that our Labour Govt’s new ‘New Towns Unit’ has recommended our community for investment.

I’ve been raising the importance of investment in local housing and infrastructure since my first question in Parliament and will continue to make the case as this progresses.

Hugely important moment.

Fully support the PM in determining the UK’s formal recognition of the State of Palestine.

We continue to push for an immediate ceasefire, aid to reach those who need it, all hostages returned, and for long-term peace for Israelis and Palestinians via a two-state solution.

💬 Today, I held my regular advice surgery in Frenchay, at the beautiful Parish Church, with in person and online appointments.

Local people raised issues from the NHS to housing. Glad to provide support.

Imagine staying as late as we did the other night to vote *against* basic rights.

We all have a part to play, through an active democracy, in making sure this dystopian version of Britain - Great Britain - with our basic rights, our NHS and more on the line, never comes to pass.

📣 Our Labour Government has introduced the Hillsborough Law to Parliament today.

Public servants could face jail if found not to have told truth in inquiries or investigations.

After 36 long years of campaigning, families who lost loved ones have finally seen this happen, in the name of the 97.

💔 Madeline passed away on Monday. She was diagnosed with cancer 11 days earlier - heartbroken to lose her.

In our 6+ years, Mads went from being a timid 4-year-old rescue with little fur to a confident & v loving companion. She was there through it all.

I’m very lucky to have had her in my life ❤️
