I was giggling to myself last night with the thought that should a conflict occur at some hotel event, it should be resolved after the event in “the parking lot” with demonstrations of nun chucks and then smash melee on a tiny CRT.

You’d think they’d go with the three button Genesis controller, a Wii mote, and Switch controller rather than the four button NES controller, a misdrawn Steam Controller (trackpad in middle, no buttons), and either a SNK or a third-party SNES controller.

I think some people have trouble seeing fascism as anything other than 1940s Germany.
But I think 'people going to a comic convention needing to have a plan in case the government's goons show up to disappear people' is a pretty good demonstration of what it can look like in 2025.
