This week, we celebrated the 8th birthday of our scat detection #dogs, Enyakwa and Gamena! We treated the pups to a prototype scent board. Their first trials went well – and we’re already thinking about upgrading this DIY version. Of course, no birthday would be complete without a treat!

POV: You went to check out the popular new spot, and there’s a line.

With feet adapted for speed, #cheetahs are not nearly adept at climbing as Africa’s other large spotted #cat – the leopard. But, cheetah #cubs practice climbing trees to help develop balance and coordination.

Cheetahs are the fastest #animals on land - but these spotted speedsters are running out of time. Today, fewer than 7,5000 #cheetahs remain in the wild - and over the last century, the #cats have disappeared from most of their historical range.
