My brother had surgery last week for a PEG feeding tube and he’s been vomiting since then so not allowed home until that settles. His weight has dropped to 55kg from almost double that a year ago 😭 this is so fucking hard ALS is the worst.

Does anyone know if, in AoNZ when applying for a credit card and providing your 3 months of transactions, do banks care if you’re making large purchases for home maintenance (eg plumbing) or if it’s only like, how often you get takeaways they factor in?
I know I could call the bank but low spoons
