In my humble opinion:
Don’t cheapen out on starting position players or rotation.
Relievers? That’s where you can “find value” as long as you do it right and diligently. A vast majority of relievers are replaceable year-in and year-out, IF you find and tweak the right guys.

Age and positional volatility can make you wonder what Caleb Theilbar will be in 2026.
With that said, the resume overall is good: 3.45 ERA, 3.28 FIP, 1.15 WHIP and 324 strikeouts over his last 305 appearances.
Outside 2024, he’s been pretty consistent.

The Chicago Cubs promoted Tyler Zombro to vice president of pitching, as @sahadevsharma reported, after Washington pursued him earlier this winter to be its pitching coach. Zombro is a rising star in the pitching ranks and will have influence in all areas of pitching for Chicago.

The Bears fought hard after that awful first half.
Had the Bears scored there, either they go for 2 or force OT. Who knows. It's a brutal way to lose but at least they showed us something. Still hurts like hell though.
