I was there today as usual and for the first time it crossed my mind as I was singing it. I wondered if it was helping or hindering the players.

I have no answer - it just crossed my mind.

I spoke to my lad on the way home. He thinks it doesn’t help the players but we can’t just stop singing it.

First half, only 2 outfield players were new. But they played like they were all strangers.

I don’t know the answer either.
