2025 watch #202 - Affliction (1997). Great adaptation of a great modern American writer - Russell Banks - who sadly passed in 2023. I guess not many of his books are palatable to movie audiences but I’d take more if his material produces performances like these from Coburn and Nolte. #filmsky
