hello #portfolioday !!

i'm shu, self-taught blender artist currently based in canada! i love pokemon, little round creatures and miniatures 💛

I love the repeating story elements in Silksong; act 1 ended with a boss that screamed about diarrhea, and act 3 began with a boss that attacks by shitting. Team Cherry really outdid themselves

Explain your username:
Stole the name Chili from the first gym leader I ever beat in a pokemon game. I thought the name was so ridiculous that I had to try it for myself for a day, and it ended up sticking. Ppl online kept spelling it with 2 L's so I specified the correct spelling in my username.

Many people have asked me if it's a reference to Nezumi Castle from Danganronpa but no, it's not, lol.

'Nezumi', while obviously meaning 'rat' or 'mouse' is also part of 'harenezumi', usually used in place of 'hedgehog' in JP. I used to do a lot of Sonic fan VA so, NezumiVA.

I used LJ as a screenname for online stuff back in the day. The original acronym involved my deadname, but I wanted to keep it, so I changed the meaning to "Lady Jazzy"

As for why "Jazzington" specifically?

Hey @teamcherry.bsky.social, if you want to earn my respect back, but a bench at the top of Bilewater that 1. Is close to the boss, and 2. WORKS.

I had immense respect for Silksong for despite its obvious Battletoads syndrome, being pretty fair. Everything felt beatable if you kept at it.

Note the past tense.

I got to Bilewater today. Any respect I had is gone.

Something I've learned is that people aren't simply good or bad. It's more complex than that. We are human beings and will make mistakes and hurt others simply by existing. So I find the standard for "goodness" to be often unrealistic and inconsistent.

Thinkin of thr "Buddy's Book" episode of Steven Universe and how Steven and Connie imagined Buddy as their friend who played him in that play, bc thats the main visual connection they had, and are shocked when he looks totally different. Thats me with the founding fathers and "Hamilton"
