He's a smart and respected baseball man, but I'm bewildered that anyone seriously thinks "he used PEDs, but he apologized" should have any part in this. I want the best players chosen and I'm sick of steroid sermons, but who cares if there was some "apology" or not?

Fascinating, heartbreaking story:
Tony Horton, excellent young hitter driven from baseball at 25 by an emotional disorder, is 80 years old. I am not a doctor, Horton is a human being, and we know very little about last 54 years. I hope he has been happy and healthy and that he celebrates today. 🥂

Fascinating, heartbreaking story:
I make an odd comparison, but pro hockey is like opera, it's significantly better in person. TV doesn't give the spacing, the speed, the vibe justice like watching it in person.
