Me: There are honestly so many, so I hold onto fragments that ring true. People are complex. I can say that I'm a Pacifist because I am constantly observing my role in harm, however, I do see the world going dark and so does NASA.

Me: No. However, sometimes when you're an activist, not only have you seen some real dark stuff but you've actually lived it, so, sometimes you're only able to get people out of that place when you've been there, and being honest about it never wasted time.

I hate to say it but the majority of the country is not going to die on the hill of trans rights. We can’t protect ANY groups if we can’t win a national election, so purity tests only serve to make specific groups feel triumphant. That’s not “erasing” them; it’s long-horizon strategy.
