This is how a Musselburgh hat starts, which is actually both top down and bottom up. 🙂 The person I'm making this for doesn't like double thickness hats, so I'll stop when it's 10" tall.

It's a Frankenstein creation. I used the basic construction of Salty Days, and the skeletons are a part of the Calaveritas mittens chart.
