Great to meet with Ayrshire’s Adult ADHD Support Network tonight!

Very interesting discussions over pizza (and my hatred of it🤣) particularly around how people access support and how we can change how society is structured at present to be more inclusive of everyone’s brains 🧠

What a night at Irvine’s Light Switch On. Can’t thank Irvine Events team enough for their hard work to make this weekend happen.

To have a night for the community with free rides, entertainment and selection boxes for the kids is just amazing and I loved seeing everyone so happy!

Round 2 tomorrow🥳

As always, great to be at our Remain the Night walk, shedding a light on violence committed by men on women & girls in all its forms.

Our CEO, Justina Murray, and Ashley, mum supported by Aberlour, have kicked off our Families Voices event. We believe services designed to support families must be shaped by the perspectives of the families we support, ensuring their voices are elevated, amplified & influence future care & support.

Tackling child poverty is my driving mission - and thanks to our actions, Scotland is the only part of the UK where child poverty is falling.

Glad that Labour was finally shamed into doing the right thing.

We're delighted Rachel Reeves has ended the two-child limit for good in the UK. We, alongside many of our partners, have campaigned for this for many years.

Read the update from our CEO, Justina Murray.

Great to see our young people empowered to share their experiences and views with the Minister👏🏼

Thank you to Natalie Don-Innes MSP for meeting with our young people to talk about issues around education, social work and the impact of disturbing rhetoric around refugees at the moment.
Our Young People's Voices Group, supported by Guardianship Scotland, had a wonderful trip to @parliament.scot yesterday. The group met with @nataliedon-innes.bsky.social to discuss issues important to them. They also managed to watch a live debate. #KeepThePromise @scotrefugeecouncil.bsky.social

Child poverty in Scotland is lower than 30 years ago and falling, unlike the rest of the UK.

But there is much more to do - by working together, we must deliver more joined-up services for families, when and where they need it.

This is what Whole Family Support is all about.

I was humbled to spend some time with carers who attended the 3rd iteration of our Mental Health Services Carers Forum who shared their stories with me and raised issues that I can follow up on. Excited to see how this forum develops and keen to support them where I can! 🤍

Politics aside, I hate to see women from working class backgrounds get the sort of abuse Rayner has experienced & seeing the personal lives of politicians being used as games. I don’t think she had ill intentions but party politics seems to ride most people’s judgement. It’s really sad
CONFIRMED: Angela Rayner has resigned from all ministerial roles and as Deputy PM.

It's just another phase in its genocide.
