When i was a mere toddler my parents took my cousins, brother and I to watch the Detroit Thanksgiving Parade live and in person. I can still feel that bone chilling cold over 20 years later. You can never make me want to go to a thanksgiving parade, even with the Huntr/x girls performing in NYC 🥶

I had to google this to make sure its a real thing but did anyone else’s family do a garbage-can cookout? Like fill a metal trash can to the brim with meat and veggies, put the lid on then set it over a campfire for a few hours? Wasnt a thanksgiving thing, maybe more of a memorial day?

People talking on here about Canadian kids television shows got me thinking…anyone else used to watch Fred Penner’s Place? We had a few episodes on vhs and dang the set design on that show was insane!!

Class is in session on how to eat cat grass like a sensible creature. Yanking it out by the root and then complaining theres no more grass is SO last year. Hopefully shes taking notes

the reason 101 dalmations looks like that is because disney incorporated xerography (ie early photocopying technology) into the animation process. rough pencils (by mostly male animators) were copied onto the cels so that disney could fire the (mostly female) inkers. remember that art can lie to you

Pet peeve of mine: a bad handshake. My parents made my brother and I take an etiquette class one evening in high school and I vividly remember being taught to give a strong grip/shake. When i get that wimpy finger grab bullshit?? NO. YUCK.

Mentally blocking it out but yesterday my supervisor stopped by to talk about some broken pedestrian lights and not 5 mins into the chat this random woman doesnt hit the walk button, walks directly into traffic. Right in front of both of us. Headphones on, also talking to someone on speakerphone.

The fact that theyre releasing the redacted version of the files for “national security reasons” is vile. If a country’s security and reputation relies on protecting pdfs, it is not a country worthy of survival.

My shift was 1 hour and 15 mins. I saw a grand total of 24 police cars/motorcycles. In tinyass San Marino!! That is insane.
I havent even been sat down working for 10 mins and ive seen 6 motorcycle cops and 2 squad cars. What is going on this morning, San Marino?
