That line has helped me comfort myself, (and others) during times where I really didn't think I was going to make it through... and thought I was too emotional or that I felt things too strongly!!
It helped me process that how you mourn is how you mourn, and that any way is valid.

So her story is pretty complicated but she has ties to Strahd yes!! The party didn't find out she was a vampire until the end in the castle, because she spends the entire campaign in armor that obscures her! So they didn't know the entire time.
She's a Eldritch Knight/Fighter! 🥰
