Can’t say if Smaug, my Tiger Salamander, knows me specifically, but she def recognizes humans give her food. Whenever someone comes in the room she unearths herself and begs at the glass. 🐸

Newest #watercolor #paleoart is Pachycephalosaurus. This is a redo of a 15 year old painting. Yes the colors are inspired by the 90s Kenner action figure. I’m not sorry.

So I’m getting two diff messages regarding the new Ajkaceratops and Rhabadontid classification. Are all rhabadontids now reclassified as ceratopsians? Or just that one that’s renamed Ferenceratops, leaving Zalmoxes robustus still an ornithopod? Any clarification would be appreciated.

My black and white drawings of the dinosaurs (that I’m allowed to talk about at least 😉) we find most often at the Maryland bonebed. These will be on our printed guides for educators. Priconodon, Aquilops, Astrodon, and Acrocanthosaurus. 🦕🦖🎨

Finds from yesterday at the Maryland Dinosaur site. Acrocanthosaurus tooth, Priconodon tooth (one of 3 found that day) and a pinecone. We also found turtle shell parts and a teeny tiny hybodont shark tooth! 🦕

Lambert, our Ackie Monitor, ate his first (small) adult mouse. Bulk of his diet will continue to be roaches, crickets, pinky mice, and eggs, but it’s good to know he can handle a huge meal like this. 🦎🐁
