Well, everyone knows that ELCA, like my crowd (Uniting Church in Australia) aren't _real_ Churches, just woke pretenders.

When I told my boss I was leaving my technology job to go into the Uniting Church his reply was "Why Uniting? You aren't gay".

Not OCD, but I have ADHD, and the same absolutely applies. A paragraph break is a promise - there's a little completion dopamine hit coming soon. Without that promise, even if I'm loving reading, the executive effort is overwhelming.

Better - a blank line before the next paragraph, promising rest.

Things Apple chose not to do that were going to allow a competitor to overtake the iPhone: replaceable batteries. expandable memory. physical keyboard. keeping a headphone jack. foldable screens.

For most people, if a battery reliably lasts a long day, that's enough.

I'm Australian, we don't have the name of God on our coinage, so I'd never really thought about it.

What do you have? "In God we trust"? I'd think that's borderline - it's not quite claiming God's authority, but it's claiming something. I'd rather it wasn't there.

Absolutely. Taking God’s name in vain is claiming God’s authority for actions God would have none of.
