Ending my day with more Pokemon Legends Z-A and a little ACNH. Putting on a movie as well. Probably Labyrinth or a comfort Ghibli film. Still going through Shingles. Nearly a full week of it. Could go on for who knows how long. Trying to stay positive. Or at least stay calm about it all.

3am. Battling more Shingles pain. Pokémon Legends Z-A is helping distract myself, to some degree at least.
I understand people had issues with Z-A, but I’ll say this for it. It’s fun and entertaining. But to me, most of all, it’s helping me fall in love all over again with Pokémon.

Played it on our classrooms only computer when I was in first grade. We all treasured our day/time slot on the computer just so we could play this game. It led me to begging my parents for video games at home, which is how I got my NES with Mario/Duck Hunt.

Good day my friends. Sleep is elusive but the shingles pain is relentless. It’s slowly easing off. But when it hits, it’s as if every affected nerve ending lights up at once on fire. A pain I can’t even accurately describe. But, gotta keep moving forward.

FF7 Remake on my Switch 2 and Labyrinth on my tv. Comfort gaming and comfort viewing. Trying to keep my head positive while shingles wrecks my body. Doc appt in five hours at least. Day 2 of Age 40 is off to a start!

Level up day. It be my 40th birthday. I’m celebrating it by playing ACNH and dealing with the shingles. A real mixed bag of emotions. But, it’s the start of another trip around the sun for me. Gotta stay positive and keep moving forward!

ICE kidnapped a child to use as bait, they tear gassed & hospitalized a 6 month old, shot a 16 year old & killed two US citizen. This is NOT about keeping Americans safe and if you still believe that please do us all a favor and get a lobotomy since you're close enough to the brain activity of one.
